BamBoomWagens.com is where the Bamboo Headliner was originated and we’ve been doing them for years in Bugs, Buses, Type IIIs and Ghias.


While we have long offered Bamboo Door Panels & Floor Mats for all air-cooled vdubs no matter where you are in the world, up till now our Bamboo Headliners have been local install only. Now we are proud to offer shippable do-it-yourself Bamboo Headliner Kits for all hardtop Buses from ’56-’79, and a few different types of Bay Window pop-tops. (Bugs, Type IIIs & Ghias available for local install in SoCal).

All you need is a drill and a brand new 1/8″ bit. If you’re halfway handy with a drill it’ll be up by the end of the day (an extra pair of hands helps).

You have 5 colors to choose from:

Natural, Raw Light, Raw Dark, Tortoise, & Chocolate (slight extra charge on “Natural” color). If you’re unsure about the right color for you, contact us…maybe we can help clarify. Or you can always ask us for a sample pack!

Shipping is included in the 48 states. Anywhere else, call. CA residents pay sales tax. If youre in or near Southern California we can happily (and cheaply!) install for you.
